On Teaching:
Mostly self-taught, I’ve been playing guitar for around 30 years. In 2019, I started teaching guitar as a volunteer at W.O. Smith Music School in Nashville, discovering a passion for music instruction that led me to start giving one-on-one lessons online in the spring of 2020.
On Recording:
Learning multiple instruments over the years, I’ve tracked guitars, basses, lap steels, pedal steels, dobros, and ganjos.
I’ve recorded six studio albums with my band The Cadillac Three and multiple singles with artists including Ray Wylie Hubbard, Dylan Carmichael, The Comancheros, and more.
I’ve worked with a wide variety of producers over the years including Dann Huff (Keith Urban, Faith Hill), Bob Rock (Metallica, Bon Jovi), and Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, Jason Isbell).
On Touring:
Since 2006, I’ve also toured extensively with The Cadillac Three. We’ve opened for and played on stage with artists including Miranda Lambert, Eric Church, ZZ Top, Dierks Bentley, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Kip Moore, Luke Bryan, Hank Williams Jr., The Pretenders, The Charlie Daniels Band, and more.
